Here's a great suggestion you can make to your videographer to ensure your wedding video captures the past and present for the future.

To make your wedding video that much more special, ask the videographer if they would be open to staging pre-wedding interviews. Have them interview you and your fiancé telling the story of how you met, how you got engaged and how you are looking forward to spending the rest of your lives together. If possible, see if you can shoot the interview at the place where you met or the location of the proposal.

Then see if they can interview your parents, your fiancé's parents and even both sets of grandparents, who can each recount their own meetings, proposals and wedding days. It will be a beautiful and thoughtful way to capture your family's love stories for future generations.
