If you're arranging transportation for your guests, it's important that your friends and family know both the pick up and drop off details. We suggest you include travel information in your wedding invitation as an "insert" to sit with the RSVP card and/or Gift Registry information. Even better, add it to Your Wedding Homepage in the Location & Accommodation section. Then you can't be blamed if someone misses the bus!
Important details to include:
- Pick up and drop off locations
- Pick up and drop off times
- Name of transportation company and contact details
- Alternative transportation options for those who will not use organised transport
- Reminder for guests to specify if they will be using the organised transport when sending their RSVP
If you plan on solely providing drop off for guests, than it is even more important that you make clear that they need to arrange their own transportation to the venue.
