I was a bridesmaid in a wedding once where the makeup artist used fake eyelashes. To be honest, I was a little skeptical. When she put the mirror in front of my face though, I was shocked at how different I looked. I loved them! I tried very hard to keep them on my eyes, but sadly, they were stuck to the pillow when I woke up the next morning.

There is, however, a solution to the eyelash-stuck-to-the-pillow scenario! Eyelash extensions are individually applied to your own lashes, and when applied properly, they can last up to six weeks. New to the New Zealand market, Lush Lashes are made of silk or synthetic fibers that are shaped and sized to look natural in appearance and texture. They staff certified professionals who apply them one at a time, using a high-grade surgical glue...but here's the clincher: within 24 hours, they are resistant to water, sweat, tears and steam. You can pretty much carry on as usual, although they do suggest you avoid oil-based products on your face, as it can breakdown the adhesive.

They look incredibly natural - and what's even more, you can continue to have big, beautiful eyes and lashes on the honeymoon too!
