Below are some links to accommodation in Martinborough (wedding) and also in Wellington (where Rob and Jen live).

Any other weekend we would say, stay in Wellington until the Saturday then travel over that day to Martinborough. Two problems exist however.

Firstly, due to the rugby sevens, all decent and cheap accommodation is booked from about the Thursday until the Saturday.

Secondly, if you tried to leave Wellington to travel to Martinborough on the Saturday, you will be frustrated with the traffic (it will be a long drive). So I would reccommend booking your accommodation in wellington to check out on the Thursday, then staying in Martinborough or another close Wairarapa town from the Thursday night and checkout on the Saturday, when you will leave to stay at Brackenridge (Reception venue).

On the Monday after the wedding my parents are hosting an after wedding "function". So for those that don't have to rush back to work, there will be some more rustic... but free accommodation available for Monday night. Anyone that is staying in New Zealand for furthur travel and excitement. I would reccommend leaving on the Tuesday for Wellington and travelling to the South Island from there.
