Getting there and away

All guests will need to find their own way to Golden Bay. If you can travel as a group all the better to help save on petrol costs.
To guests from Wellington, there is a plane that flies directly into Takaka if you would prefer to travel that way.

There are plenty of places to stay in and around Golden Bay. I suggest making a holiday of it if you can and exploring the magic that is Golden Bay - you'll love it!

We will have some accommodation available for some people if you get stuck, so feel free to get hold of us to chat about this.
Pohara Sands have 24 beds available at a bargain rate of $25 per person per night. They have one double room and all the other rooms are bunk rooms with 4 bunks to a room. This is a great spot - central with bar and restaurant on site. If you're interested in this for your accommodation let me know asap and I will book rooms for you.
Golden Bay Lodge (ceremony venue)will have a couple of rooms free aswell for $200 per night (double). Please let me know asap if you are interested in staying here.
