Which veil should I wear?

I'm having trouble making up my mind on what length veil to have. I want a single-tier, positioned at the back of my head, and H2B really doesn't want cathedral length. My dress has a chapel train, is strapless and float-y chiffon with a beaded empire waist. The detail on the train starts at the waist and goes down in an upside-down V shape (beaded rose design). Where should my veil end so that it looks romantic and soft, but doesn't compete with the back of the dress or the waistline? Elbow or fingertip? Thanks!

Couture designer Alison Blain has a quick and simple answer for you...

Fingertip is the most elegant length, which will work beautifully with your gown. I suggest you choose a very fine veil...a tulle with a diamond weave is best!

All the best for a beautiful wedding,
