What Colour White Can I Wear?
I am fair with green eyes, blondish hair and a cool complexion. What shade/s of white or off-white would suit me best? I definitely can't wear yellow or orange colours. Is there an off-white that would look good on me? Or would white be my best choice?

I think we may have a good article for you. It sounds to me like the best colour, if you are leaning towards an off-white tone, is ivory (also known as eggshell or candlelight). It's a great colour for paler skin tones with softer features. Check out this article, as it may help you make your colour decision: A Whiter Shade of Wedding Dress.
However, it always serves to consult a TRUE expert, which luckily we did. Couture wedding gown designer Alison Blain has some words of wisdom for you...
"There are guidelines with colour, but there really is no clear-cut formula. It's important to be careful here, because it's not just about the colour...it's of course the fabric as well.
"Polyesters are 'flat', meaning they don't have a 'kind' interaction with the skin. With a polyester fabric, you might be advised to choose pearl white.
"Silks generally 'give' to the skin - that is, they flatter your skin easily. This means that when using a silk, you have a bit more leeway. You could choose pearl white, natural white, silk white or candlelight.
"Some people will suit a fabric that has no lustre, just as some skins will suit a semi-lustre and others a high-lustre to the fabric. This unfortunately means that it's not as simple as matching a skin tone to a colour...it also has a lot to do with your personality!"
