About theBIGstep
It was a shared frustration with current New Zealand wedding websites that sparked owners and directors Erin Celentano and Lauren Andrews to create theBIGstep.co.nz.
Erin married her husband in Martinborough in January 2007. Working full time in a demanding role meant that making numerous phone calls and site visits did not fit into her busy schedule. Lauren has helped many friends plan their weddings, as they were often living overseas and did not have the time or money to ring internationally.
The solution: Create an online research library that men and women planning their weddings in New Zealand can use - anytime, anywhere.

Erin is the voice of the website. She received her Bachelors of Science degree from the prestigious Northwestern University's Medill School of Journalism. Erin has worked for two of New Zealand's top media companies managing sponsorships, advertising strategies and marketing campaigns.
Lauren is the look of the website. She graduated with honours from Massey University Wellington with a Bachelor of Design in Visual Communications. Lauren has worked in both small creative houses and large, corporate advertising firms as an art director and graphic designer.
